Regarding Warnings About Sling Carriers

This week there have been many announcements in the media regarding the safety of sling carriers for babies, specifically reporting that the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the USA issued a warning that baby slings— more specifically soft bag style slings which wrap around the parent's neck and cradle the child in a curved "C-like" position— may cause infant suffocation.
